  1. Guest Verification: To ensure the safety and security of our guests and the property, we request a nominal charge of £1, which also acts as a verification step. This helps us confirm the identity of the person making the reservation and provides an added layer of assurance for both parties.

  2. Damage Coverage: While we trust that all our guests will treat our properties with care and respect, accidents can happen. The security deposit helps provide coverage in the unlikely event of any damages to the property during your stay. This helps us maintain the high standards that our guests expect from us.

How it Works:​

  1. Guest Contact: A member of our team will reach out to you to collect card details over the phone. This additional step is designed to ensure the security of your payment information and the reservation process.

  2. During Your Stay: We hope you have a wonderful and memorable stay with us. Please treat the property and its amenities with care.

  3. Check-Out: After your stay and a thorough inspection of the property, the £1 security deposit will be retained for administrative purposes. It will be used to cover any potential damages beyond normal wear and tear.

 

In the unlikely event that any damages are discovered, we will notify you and discuss the necessary steps for resolution. Please note that the security deposit will only be used to cover actual damages beyond normal wear and tear.
